Publisher's summary

It's wintertime at Greenglass House. The creaky smuggler's inn is always quiet during this season, and 12-year-old Milo, the innkeepers' adopted son, plans to spend his holidays relaxing. But on the first icy night of vacation, out of nowhere, the guest bell rings. Then rings again. And again. Soon Milo's home is bursting with odd, secretive guests, each one bearing a strange story that is somehow connected to the rambling old house. As objects go missing and tempers flare, Milo and Meddy, the cook's daughter, must decipher clues and untangle the web of deepening mysteries to discover the truth about Greenglass House - and themselves.

Over all it was a good story

It was a story that I would read again definitely

But it got in to deep with the details and didn't let me use my imagination as much as I would have hoped. Other than that though it definitely changed my perspective on mystery stories and I can't wait for the movie

Great Story, Annoying Narrator

Overall, I really enjoyed this story! It's charming, cozy, and exciting. The only issue was the narrator... thankfully though that didn't ruin the story!

wonderful story

Wonderful story of mystery with elements of fairy tales. The young man in the story is respectful of his parents even as he pursues his adventure

Terrific story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Yes it’s meant for young adults-meaning not children. Probably age 10 and up. I’m one of those adults who enjoys good well plotted stories that don’t have excessive violence and have happy endings. This is a fresh, unique story and the characters are well crafted and interesting. I can’t wait to read more of the series. There were some reviews complaining about the narrator but I though he did a good job. Recorded books never has bad narrators. There is another version of this audio book with a different narrator so maybe that’s where the problem is but this one is good. Read and enjoy!

Lost in Green Glass

From the start we felt we were a part of the story and the lives that lived and visited Green Glass House. A true mystery with substance this book is now in my girls (ages 10) top 5 favorite books. I thoroughly enjoyed the book myself and look forward to listening to the next book
